Why I built OMNIAPATH
I built OMNIAPATH because I believe the definition of what a young person can build is changing.
AI has dramatically lowered the barrier between having an idea and turning that idea into something real. You no longer need a large team, years of technical training, or significant capital just to get started. Increasingly, one person with curiosity, taste, and the willingness to learn can build a product around something they genuinely care about.
I think students should experience this as early as possible.
Too often, we treat entrepreneurship as something you start thinking about much later in life—after college, after a few years of work, or once you finally feel “ready.” I disagree with that approach.
You don’t need to become a founder at 16. But I think you should understand what it feels like to create something from zero.
There is a big difference between doing good work inside an existing system and creating the system yourself.
They are different muscles.
When you work for someone else, you learn how to execute, collaborate, and operate within constraints. When you build something yourself, you have to identify problems, talk to users, make decisions with incomplete information, convince people to believe in an idea, deal with rejection, and take responsibility when things don’t work.
That entrepreneurial muscle is useful even if you never start a company.
Life rarely gives you a perfect job description or a step-by-step instruction manual. Sometimes you have to figure out what the real problem is, find the resources around you, experiment, fail, adjust, and keep moving.
That is entrepreneurship to me.
And that is why I built OMNIAPATH.
I wanted to create an environment where young people could practice building before the stakes became too high—where they could take something they genuinely cared about and turn it into a real product, project, or company.
AI makes this more possible than ever.
The goal isn't to turn every student into a startup founder.
The goal is to help more young people realize:
I can build things. I can solve problems. And when there isn't already a path in front of me, I can learn how to create one.
